Geographic Focus
Generally speaking, we serve business and economic development interests in the United States, Philippines, and China.
United States
TLG Innovation, Inc. is based in Bellevue, WA, near Seattle. Most of our clients are located in the Puget Sound region, or have significant business interests in that area. TLG has long-term business interests in Arizona and California. Our interests in global trade naturally lead to relationships based in other major cities, such as New York, Washington D.C., and San Francisco.
Philippines
We envision that our first expansion office will be located in the Philippines. A well-educated, English-speaking work force is increasigly competitive globally. Business Process Outsourcing, Call Center operations, software development, food production, manufacturing, and other operations are expected to grow significantly. The United States has maintained relatively good relations with the Republic, which has taken some very important steps toward fiscal discipline. At the same time, the people of this nation suffer from crushing poverty, where over 35% of workers subsist on less than $2 per day. There are few places in the world where the need for economic development is so great.
The Philippines and China have a long history of trade, economic, and family ties. The Chinese business influence in Philippines is significant - far greater than that of the United States. Understanding the Philippines business landscape, in part, involves an understanding of certain aspects of Chinese business culture.
China
Trade between China and the US has grown significantly, and particularly so in Washington State - the most trade-dependent state in the nation. Chinese immigration to the Seattle area has increased our cultural ties, and this trend is expected to continue. As Chinese companies mature, they are increasingly interested in building a presence in the United States. The Seattle area is a logical destination, and TLG is here to help. The vast technical and manufacturing capabilities that continue to develop in China represent excellent opportunities for outsourcing. An increasing appetite for consumer goods gives US businesses ample opportunity to build new markets that are still in their infancy.
