Greg Lins, Founder and President
With 25+ years of experience spanning strategy and execution in marketing, sales, operations, IT, and engineering in a variety of organizations, Greg quickly understands complex business challenges. He can immediately assist you to develop a comprehensive plan and manage the execution of initiatives to address them.
Having led consulting practices and client engagements for firms such as Arthur Andersen, CNA Consulting & Engineering, The Cordada Group and Applied Theory, Greg has been fortunate to work with incredible talent and highly effective methodologies. As the top sales and marketing executive for two of these firms, he has been instrumental in driving customer and brand value throughout the organizations he has worked with. His corporate development experience has proven to be valuable for executive teams and boards to understand the benefits and challenges associated with numerous mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
While he has been engaged in turn-arounds, downsizing, consolidation, mergers and acquisitions, and rapid expansion, the vast majority of his experience has been assisting a wide variety of companies facing complex market and competitive challenges. He has provided leadership and technical assistance for start-ups to Fortune 50 Corporations, with hands-on experience managing capital projects totaling in excess of $1 Billion USD. A proven cost-cutter, his business process improvement experience dates back to his early career as an Industrial Engineer, where he led some of the earliest US implementations of what is now known as lean manufacturing.
In 2001, Greg left the corporate world to launch businesses in real estate and publishing. With fresh perspectives gained from building these innovative businesses, he launched TLG Innovation in 2006.
As a quick study with exposure to many industries and types of organizations, Greg brings a holistic view and a track record of building successful teams and processes. Whether leading business transformation efforts or narrowly-focused operational improvements, his strategic perspective is tempered with years of experience implementing (and owning) solutions. He thrives on solving challenging and complex problems, driving value, and building teams.
